My kind of bouqet!
I love fruit and when I saw somebody deliver a beautiful bouqet of fruit (instead of flowers) to my neighbor I almost....well...took it. No, I wouldn't do that but I think it's a great idea. I am not sure if that's the webiste they used to order that spesific bouqet but I came across this website www.ediblearrangements.com The prices are a bit high but you can copy the idea and make one even better for someone you love or know who loves fruit. You know one person already :) Have fun, be creative!

Our bellies

We went to visit my sister in Oregon this past weekend. It was such a nice family vacation! We got to spend some quality time with Ira, Keith, Lena, and Benji. We played with the kids, went out to the movies, ate in/out, did a Disney 720 pieces puzzle, etc. Great fun!!!
My sister and I are pregnant together which is FUNtastic, except for the part when we grab our backs from pain, eat a lot of food and then suffer because we can't breath, get swollen feet (here goes the shoe shopping out of the window plus it's hard to bend down). She is due in May and expecting a boy. I am due in June and having another girl. I just love my sister. She has been an amazing friend and the best sister for as long as I remember.

Funny video
Katya has been buiding castles from the couch pillows lately. She would get inside and yell out: Hello peoples! Hello captain! Go figure...So then she started jumping on the pillows and looking at herself in the mirror at the same time. She found it very entertaining and so did we!

I love San Diego!
I have always loved going to the beach and the thing that I love about San Diego is that you can go to the beach anytime, even in January. We went yesterday and had a nice family picnic, chased the birds, and even played in the water. Here is a beautiful picture that Dave captured. I didn't even know he took it and was surprised to see it on the desktop.Katya is a graduate!
Since we are pregnant again, we thought this would be a good time to transfer Katya from her crib onto a twin bed. I was excited to make changes in her room and set up a new bedding for her. Since the time I had my own room in Russia, I loved rearranging and moving the furniture. This time it was even more exciting because it was going to be our surprise to Katya. We put on a show for her and made her wait...she tried to get into her room getting kind of frustrated that we would hold the door. But then we explained that we had a surprise for her. She was anxious. So we are in the middle of finishing up and Katya walks into the room!!!!! So the surprise part was a bit ruined but she still loved everything. She loved the bed and was anxious to sleep in it. She slept all night and got out of her room at 8 am. I asked her if she had a good night sleep and she said: Yeah!...but then she said: Uh, oh, katya fell. Hm, I didn't hear anything and maybe she did fall down but that's why we put 2 big blankets next to her bed and 2 pillows as well. So last night she slept pretty good as well, no sounds what's so ever. But at 6 am I woke up and had a weird feeling, like I heard her cry in my sleep or something....I go in to check and she is not in her bed, not on her blankets...but on the floor by the rocking chair....sleeping peacefully on her side. That was so sad but at least she didn't get scared. Funny girl. I can't wait for her to have a baby sister so they can share a room like my sister and I did growing up. We are having another ultrasound tomorrow but I am sure it's still a girl like they said before (at least 90%).

White Christmas!

We went to UT this Christmas season. We felt like we were ready to dip into the snow again and relive all the memories that we had created in the past years. Dave and I both attended Southern Utah University, we got married there, and our daughter Katya was born in Cedar City, UT. Our Stein family lives there who we love dearly and only 3.5 hrs away from Dave' family. We got to see a lot of family and even some friends. The weather was great except for a few snow storms. Katerina loved the snow, she loved to play with all of her cousins, aunts, uncles, grand/great parents but most of all she LOVED playing with mom and papa's adorable dog Riley. That was the highlight of her vacation on top of her princess dress from her aunt Ira and all the snow activities (including throwing snow at people, we blame it on papa Craig).

I am Thankful for Family
We spent our Thanksgiving in Las Vegas this year. Dave's sister Suzanne and her family live SouthWest of Las Vegas. They have a beautiful home and all the Petts and my dad were able to meet there for the Holiday. It was fun to see everyone, to spend time together and just "hang out".....AND of course eat delicious food. Our Thanksgiving Feast was incredible. Thanks everyone for cooking. The weather was beautiful and we got to take The Pett Family portrait in the mountains. We also did some hiking, swimming, sight seeing, played tennis, games, talked, visited some old friends, made Christmas Cards. Just a perfect way to spend the Holiday. I love to visit families and always look forward to it during the year. I am excited about Christmas already. We got our tree out yesterday and Katya helped me decorating this morning. She gets overly excited when she sees all the lights, Santa and she started singing "jingle bells". Can't wait for another trip this year. We are going to UT for Christmas. Miss you, Irka.
